this seems to be a duplicate of http://feedback.cocoatech.com/pages/275-general/suggestions/65232-left-arrow-key-selects-parent-folder-in-list-view
these two requests should be combined. currently that would make 67 votes in total, moving this from 17th to 14th ranking.

this is one major irritation for me in PF because i prefer to navigate by keyboard as much as possible. i believe this feature request is a duplicate of http://feedback.cocoatech.com/pages/275-general/suggestions/96645-enable-closing-folders-with-the-left-arrow-in-list-view
