I've been using windows since forever (3.11), but bought a mac a few days ago. I like it a lot, but the first thing I felt needed to be replaced is the finder. Google brought me here, and I thought $40 should probably give me a top-notch replacement. After installing the trial-version, and playing around for a bit, I was amazed that I couldn't edit the path manually. So I googled again, and found this suggestion. As many others have said here, this is the single reason I won't buy this app. I have a bunch of machines in my network, and being able to go to \\something\cool is a must! I'll be using muCommander until you fix this, or I find another premium app.
