We’d love to add full SVN features to Path Finder, but it’s a larger task than we’re currently able to handle.
There are a couple solid SVN clients for Mac:
Versions – http://versionsapp.com/
Cornerstone – http://www.zennaware.com/

Writable FTP support will be a tremendous amount of work, but we’d love to add it to a future Path Finder upgrade.

I agree strongly: PathFinder seems to have everything I may need to do with the files, only lacking FTP support. Please make your software perfect!
I am also waiting for PathFinder to include full FTP / FTP-TLS / SFTP-SSH type of access to buy it.
RBrowser.com is the best tool for that but it is only for that. PathFinder should use that principle of using ssh commands to perform actions on server so moving and archiving files on server happer in a snap.
It could be that it is huge undertaking but it is essential for new dimension of PathFinder that would elevate it as swiss knife tool for professionals.
Adding those features FTP / SFTP handling and performing ssh terminal in drawer would instantly move my cash to Path Finder.
Again, please make your software perfect!

I also agree to inteligent folder comapre INCLUDING subdirectories and layered comparing options e.g to include certain options or not like date / time / creation / modification / resource forks / checksum.. That should work on local directories as well as attached like USB, network and FTP/SFTP volumes.
