@Michael: A simple raw path text box would be a boon for windows users just because that's the interface they're accustomed to. That feature would make Pathfinder very attractive to switchers and multi-platform-users. I know several who would buy pathfinder just for that feature.
It's not that there's anything wrong with the way pathfinder implements copying and editing paths; it's just that I've spent 15 years doing it differently.
A raw text box is also the interface used to copy and edit URLs in pretty much every web browser, so it will seem natural to a many users, even if they aren't accustomed to windows.
