QuickLook is a part of OS X itself, and it supports plugins for displaying a wide range of file types:

yeah, this is actually not part of (path) finder, but it would be nice to have it included :-)

Yes, this would be much more convenient and quicker than choosing either "copy path / as unix" or "go to folder" each time!
Dont feel ashamed of copying good ideas, even if they are from MS ;-)
(at least as long as they dont sue you)
