I routinely create folders in which I place backup copies of files. I simply name those folders with the date and time. I use ISO 8601 format so they sort alphabetically (and are easy to read and visually scan).
Example:
2012-01-31 11-09
You get bonus points for a preference setting to choose between these options:
• Local time (as seen above)
• Local time with time-zone offset (per ISO 8601)
• UTC time

This automatically brings the most recently modified files to the top of the list. In Path Finder, it's the other way around, which means clicking twice to bring the most recent to the top. It's not a huge problem, I know, but it would be great if this behaviour could be chosen/changed as an option.
Steve Hydetag:feedback.cocoatech.com,2008-02-07:Event/106465362012-01-29T18:32:01-08:002012-01-29T18:32:01-08:00Put your software in the Mac App store... This is utterly inefficient as the HD head constantly move from file A to File B back and forth to copy a bit of A, then a bit of B. A much more efficient way is to queue the file copy, so the computer copies A, then B at full speed because HD Head moves a lot less. Connectix's disckcopy did that in Mac OS 9 days. It's even worse with copies from network and CD/DVD copies.
Somme refinements : ability to pause and reorder the queue or relaunched a paused copy. Automatic reordering of the queue to start to do the small copies first to maximize the number of user demands in the minimum time. That feature would justify Pathfinder use by itself

SystemTrouble said:

Great news.
