I suggest you ...

Add 'Recently Closed Tabs' (like Firefox)

Or, alternately, the ability to 'undo' an accidental closing of a tab.

Simply adding a "Recently open" submenu to the existing TabSets pulldown would be useful. The contents of the submenu would be in descending order of history (the most recent on top). Restoring the directory being viewed, the scroll bar position, view layout type (grid/tree/column), and selection of item within the view would be useful.

A related feature: it would also be nice if one could lock some tabs.

I'll vote for this one also. But not even with Tabs, what i you close pathfinder altogether. It would be great to have it auto open to your last viewed folder.

It's not as bad as in Firefox/Safari when you close a tab. You were looking at a folder on your own harddrive, so it shouldn't be too hard to find it back if you are missing it...

Totally agree... there have been many times where I've tried to right-click and "undo" closing my tabs only to be frustratingly reminded that I can't. :)
