Give us the option to set the color of the path and status bar colours to grey, or other color.
Give us the option to set the color of the path and status bar colours to grey, or other color. The current bluish gradient just doesn't look right when in context with the rest of the app (which is grayish)... please give us the option to make it grey, with blue only in dual pane mode (to see which pane has focus), and let us set the gradient color. Thanks for a fantastic app!!

Tabs Need Icons
The sidebar has colored icons, but the tabs dont have icons at all. Tabs desperately need icons!
Here are 2 options for giving tab icons:
1) The tab shows the actual icon of the viewed folder.
2) The tab shows the icon of the closest folder in current hierarchy which has a custom icon.
⁃ This means there will be no "standard folder" icons, only custom folder icons. This will help to know what "subfolder" you are under for quicker reference (since standard folders all look the same). The point is quick-glance working.Would be great if you could not… more

Put back the colors for the toolbar icons for info and for delete
When I upgraded to 6.0.0 my toolbar lost the info and the delete icons. and when I put them back I discovered that they were black rather than blue and red, respectively. They should either go back to the colors they had or there should be a way for the user to change the colors.
In the past when I saw the blue dot with a white italic 'i' in it's center I knew that it was the 'info' button and when I saw the red circle-and-backslash symbol I intuitively knew that it meant 'delete'. (Anyone who drives automatically knows… more

change the icon for Path Finder 6 (3d globe icon)
Trivial, I'm afraid, but I'm afraid I really DON'T like the new '3d globe icon' introduced in Path Finder 6.0.1. Sorry :-(

Return vertical tabs to Path Finder!
Vertical tabs are extremely useful. Removing it broke my heart. Shame on you!

Add context command: "Move selected file(s) to New Folder"
So it's often the case that I have a bunch of files selected from within the contents of a folder, and need them in a new folder. The crrent means is to either create the new folder ahead of time; it would be much, much nicer to see a right-click context menu item, "Move to New Folder". Following the folder creation and moving of files, the user would find the cursor ready to type a new name for the folder in question. Easy and useful.

Add the new Dropbox contextual menu item
Dropbox has added a new contextual menu item that allows users to
create links to files that can be shared. It appears in Finder.

Allow traditional colored folders everywhere.
Uniformly gray icons are a huge step backward in terms of readability. I bought PathFinder in hopes of minimizing the eyestrain brought on by some of Lion's "improvements." Creating a new sidebar helps, but when you drag other folders in (which used to be colored and therefore easy to identify at a glance) they stay gray. Your default "new sidebar" icon colors do help, but I don't use any of them except Desktop and Applications. I suppose returning to colored icons would be a major implementation, but my bet is that it would double your sales!

Manage Favorite Links
Its so hard to delete link from Favorite . It will be nice if you add in menu after secondary click over favorite link the command "Remove Favorite" (or other name command).

re-add the ability to turn off font smoothing or anti-aliasing like PF5
It can be difficult to read 9pt font that is smoothed. (Both in file lists and on Desktop)

When clicking an application icon added to the toolbar, launch it with the current folder as its argument.
Right now, you can drag and drop an arbitrary application icon to the toolbar and launch it. You can also drag and drop a file/folder and have it open by that program. However, this is not ideal. Not only do I have to hit the back button and grab the current folder, if that is what I want to launch with the program, but I also have to battle the toolbar's tendency to think I'm adding a toolbar link to my file/folder instead of wanting to drop it on the application icon. Similar to the "Accept dropped items" contextual menu… more

Add Keep Both to Replace and Cancel options when copying a file into a folder with the same filename
This functionality exists in finder and should be easy to implement. Basically if myfile.doc exists in folder one and is copied to another folder with its own myfile.doc, you can opt for "Keep Both" and have the original myfile.doc plus the newly copied myfile (1).doc in the same directory.

Pull the darn shades
I work all day in civilized apps with nice dark interfaces. And then I have to switch over to pathfinder. It hurts my poor, sensitive eyes. Badly. Please, turn out the lights!
